An investigation is underway after a woman was killed in Montgomery.
The shooting happened at 6:06 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of East Woodland Drive.
Police Cpl. James Dozier said officers arrived to find the victim dead on the scene.
Officers quickly identified and took a suspect into custody.
No additional information is being released at this time.
